North Keppel Island (627ha);
North Keppel is the largest island in the national park. Fringing reefs, nine beaches and a varied landscape of rugged cliffs, steep grass clad hills, it is also the home of the North Keppel Environmental Education Centre.

Middle Island (65ha);
Middle Island lies just north-west of Great Keppel which shelters it from the prevailing south-east winds. Heath and shrubland cover the slopes. Beaches are found on both sides of the island between the rocky headlands.
     
 
Miall Island (40ha);
Miall Island lies north-west of Middle Island and is covered in heath and shrubland. Fringing reef on the south­east and northern sides of the island is very good for diving and snorkelling. Only a picnic table is provided here. A maximum of six people at one time may camp behind the small beach and foredune to the south-west.
     
 
Humpy Island (65ha);
This island lies just south of Great Keppel. Its wind-swept slopes are covered mostly in grassland or stunted heath and shrubland. A beautiful beach encompasses the western and northern sides of the island have fringing coral reefs within easy snorkelling distance.
